SUMMER SLAM
Summer Slam is a 4 week transition program for incoming freshmen designed to prepare them for the high school experience.
The program is held at Red Bank Regional High School from July 10 -August 3, 2023 from 8:00 am -1:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Students must attend all 4 weeks and attendance is mandatory. Students can earn 2.5 credits toward school graduation. Transportation to and from RBRHS is provided for sending districts only. Lunch is provided to all participants. Program capacity is 120 students.
The program is taught by highly qualified teachers from the Freshman Academy at Red Bank Regional High School. Guest presenters also engage the students with hands on activities. The curriculum includes: Language Arts, Math, History and Science with an emphasis on critical thinking skills, reading comprehension and test-taking strategies.
